I'm involved in a ladies shooting group in the Atlanta area called the Annie Oakleys. We meet on the second Monday of each month, for shooting with friends, with or without instruction and lunch after. We have been doing this for about 11 years, and hold a tournament each Fall which benefits the Trust for Public Land. This has developed solid friendships and confidence in gun handling skills, as well as being a template for other ladies shooting groups in the country. I am a founding member of this group, and am proud of all that we have accomplished. We encourage new shooters! (I'm third from the right in the red sweater)
